| Google files salary details of Sundar Pichai |
Google has made a regulatory filing with US stock authorities detailing its CEO Sundar Pichai's eye-popping salary and other remuneration.
Roughly, in Indian rupees, Pichai got about Rs 660 crores last year, putting him in the elite ranks of highest paid CEOs of the world.
In dollar terms, he made a total of $100.5 million. $99.8 million of that came from stock grants and rest as salary ($652,500) and other compensation ($22,935).
NewsCrunch had earlier noted that Google had given a salary boost to Pichai last year by awarding a stock grant of $199 million. The $99.8 million worth of options, which will fully vest next year, is part of that tranche.
