A funeral video of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee dressed as a bride in a red lehenga has gone viral.
A video from Lehren, which shows her funeral march at Oshiwara crematorium grounds, attended by her colleagues from the industry, has been viewed over a million times in the last two days.
Why was Pratyusha Banerjee dressed as a bride for the funeral?
An IANSreport states that Pratyusha had placed an order for a bridal lehenga from designer Rohit Verma before she hanged herself at her flat in Goregaon on Friday.
It is not clear when exactly Pratyusha had ordered the lehenga and for what reason.
Possibly, her family and friends decided that adorning her in the lehenga would be an apt farewell as Pratyusha had become a household name playing the grown-up child bride Anandi of Balika vadu.
