Viral photo of Raipur’s DSP Archana Jha is authentic – she does take her daughter on night patrols

A photo, which shows Raipur’s DSP Archana Jha on a night patrol along with her daughter, is authentic.

The photo, which shows her holding a walkie talkie, and the four-year-old daughter sleeping on her lap, had gone viral sometime ago.

ABP Live checked with the police officer and reported that the picture was taken on February 13 at around 1: 30 am.

Archana Jha is married to a Bilaspur High Court lawyer and lives with her in-laws.

Unfortunately, the badly subbed copy– surprisingly for a website from a group which also publishes The Telegraph  - is not clear on what had compelled Archana Jha to take her daughter on a call of duty that carried risks.
