When PM Modi goes overseas, he now reportedly flies at night, sleeps in planes and skips hotel stays.

PM Modi, whose frequent foreign trips are a matter of excited discussion, is making all-effort to make them productive.

Flying at night eliminates hotel stays, which is unproductive time. He now prefers to land at his destination early morning and start the busy day ahead, wrap up the meetings and fly out again at night.

He does not mind catching up with his sleep in the mid-flight Air India One. He reportedly has the energy to pull it off and also beat the jet lag.

The Times of India reports that this is how he planned his latest trip to Belgium, US and Saudi Arabiabetween March 30 and April 2.

He left Delhi on the midnight of March 30 and flew for nine hours to land in Brusselsat 6 am local time on the same day. He had back-to-back meetings, which culminated with a 9 pm address to NRIs, after which instead of checking in to a hotel, he flew to Washington.

He flew through the night, again sleeping in the plane, and landed in Washington early morning on March 31, kicking off another packed day.

In the five-day Brussels- Washington- Riyadh trip, Modi spent three night on plane and just two at hotels one in Washington and one in Riyadh.
