Ritu Nanda, family matriarch, is the sister of Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv Kapoor.
But surprisingly, Rishi Kapoor, who had refused to be part of the group till now, agreed to join soon after Katrina Kaif exited.
The episode brings to fore how doomed Katrina-Ranbir’s romance was in wake of strong parental opposition.
Rishi Kapoor, otherwise an amiable person, was dead against the Katrina Kaif and Ranbir getting married for reasons he never disclosed.
When they were together he had gone on record saying that Katrina would not dare to call him daddy despite having lived with Ranbir for many years.
