A hand grenade exploded at an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) inKarachi after a curious judge asked how it worked.
During a case hearing, a few grenades were produced in courtroom-III as evidence. The judge, Shakeel Haider, asked casually how they worked.
A constable anxious to give a demo overstepped a bit. He removed the pin and tried to handover the grenade to the judge.
This resulted in a loud explosion, injuring five including the judge and the constable.
They are in a hospital now and senior police officials are waiting for the constable to be discharged to start their probe.
