The trailer of The man who knew infinity, the biopic of math genius Srinivasan Ramanujam, which is releasing this week in India has gone viral.
Put on social media two months ago, it has clocked 6 plus million views.
The film. a conventional biopic, based on a book by Robert Kanigal, largely focuses on the relationship between Srinivasan Ramanujam (Dev Patel) and G H Hardy (Jeremy Irons).
Going by the trailer, the movie seems to present a slightly dramatised version of the events that shaped one of the most impressive mathematical lives of the last century.
The direction seem to be taut, the cinematography shot largely at the Trinity college, Cambridge, recreates the ambiance.
