Video: Budhha director Vivek Agnihotri’s speech at Jadavpur University goes viral – Chanakya, Krishna, Modi among India’s greatest political thinkers

'Budhha in a traffic jam' director Vivek Agnihotri seems to have had a minor Kanhaiya Kumar moment at Jadavpur University last Friday.

A defiant speech made by him against the backdrop left students aggressively shouting slogans has gone viral.

The left students had protested against the screening of his movie at JadavpurUniversity and waved blackflags at him.

Vivek Agnihotri defiantly noted that the fight he had begun in JNU – of showing the movie – had come till JadavpurUniversity.

He said both the groups of students were working for India’s wellbeing – while the ABVP held white flags, left students were waving black flags, the symbol of death.

The fight was not between left and right but between those who wanted to change Indiaand those who wanted status quo, he said.

Vivek Agnihotri also noted that Indiahad given birth to several political thinkers and listed some of them –Chanakya, Ashoka, Gandhi, Patel, Bose, Modi, among others.

As he mentioned the PM’s name, his supporters started chanting Modi, Modi, Modi.

Vivek Agnihotri said that Krishna was the greatest political thinker in the world going by what he said in Gita and added that there was no need to import Mao into the country.
