Civil services topper Tina Dabi scored 52.49% about .5% less than last year's topper Ira Singhal.
The 22-year-old Tina, a graduate from Delhi’s Lady Shri Ram College, secured 1,063 marks out of a total of 2,025.
In the written component, she scored an impressive 868 out of 1750 marks or 49.6%. In the stringent evaluation of civil service exams, this was enough to send her to top and even overcome a not so impressive performance in the personality test.
In the interview. the last stage of the three-step exam, she came 60th, scoring just 195 out of 275, reports The Hindustan Times.
But her written score was so high, relatively speaking, she ended up topping the exam.
