A controversial video shows alleged Bajrang Dal members shooting down a skull cap wearing man during a mock drill at a self defence camp in Ayodhya.
In the ANI video, alleged Bajrang Dal members are seen shooting at a smaller group, which has at least one skull cap-wearing man. A voice over the loud speaker identifies the men, who are being targeted, as terrorists. They are also seen shooting in the air, raising slogans.
Bajrang Dal conducts self defence camps in various cities to militarily train Hindu youth.
The outfit is planning to organise similar camps in cities including Sultanpur,
The video below was shot in Ayodhya, where the Hindutva groups are making a renewed attempt to build a Ram temple at the disputed site.
Building Ram temple is a core objective of Bajrang Dal, which came into existence in 1984.
It was banned by P V Narasimha Rao government in 1992 after it played a key role in the demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.
