RCB player Sachin Baby, who played many useful cameo innings, broke down towards the fag end of the finals match staring at an inevitable defeat against SRH.
Chasing 209, RCB had stumbled after a brilliant start. But the middle-order ensured that the match went to the wire.

But, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who bowled the last over, was a tough customer to negotiate. His menacing yorkers put clamps on RCB batsmen., leaving them to score an impossible 14 of the last two balls.
Baby, who was on strike, could manage just one run from Bhuvi’s penultimate ball.

At the non striker end, his eyes welled up as he sunk to his knees and wept as the SRH players celebrated their maiden title win.
Another poignant moment from RCB came from Virat Kohli, the hero of IPL 9, who had slumped into his chair, with chin on the chest.
