Move over Anadita Patel, Kerala sports minister E P Jayarajan is here to pay rich tribute to Muhammed Ali, whose death he mourned as an unbearable loss for his state.

The TV anchor probably with a soft corner for the minister decided to move on quickly, without pursuing it it.
Ironically, E P Jayarajan cut his teeth in CPI (M) affairs as the General Manager of Deshabhimani Newspaper daily, a party run publication. He also holds a diploma in electrical engineering.
Neither his newspaper stint nor education seems to have given him any familiarity with sports, the portfolio he currently holds.
An MLA from Mattanur constituency, E P Jayarajan was sworn-in last month as the Minister for Sports and Industry under the new Kerala Cabinet led by Pinarayi Vijayan.
