All the first three toppers of 2016's IIT JEE Aman Bansal, Bhavesh Dhingra and Kunal Goyal
are from Kota headquartered Allen Career Institute.
Aman Bansal and Bhavesh Dhingra scored 320 and 310 respectively, according to media reports. The information on the marks scored by Kunal Goyal is not yet available.
In the dog-eat-dog coaching business, other institutes may find Allen Career Institute's new record tough to beat.
Allen Career Institute ranks among the largest coaching Institutes in the country. In 2014, 66,504 students registered for class room training at its Kota branch; the feat earned it a listing in the Limca Book of records as India's largest coaching Institute.
Allen Career Institute was started in 1988 in Kota by Rajesh Maheshwari, who had been tutoring students on a small scale till then. Growing steadily, it ow has branches across 11 cities in India.
