The divorce of tennis star Leander Paes and his former live-in partner Rhea Pillai is reportedly struck on the alimony amount.
The former model, according to Mid Day is seeking Rs 4 lakh a month as alimony.
The couple, who have an eight-year-old daughter, have been unable to agree on the financial settlement.
The lawyers of both Rhea Pillai and Leander Paes have exchanged proposals and the court proceedings are scheduled to resume in late August after he returns from Rio Olympics.
The
Rhea Pillai started living with Leander Paes in 2004 after separating from Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The couple had a daughter in 2006 and separated in 2013.
Leander filed for the custody of the child the same year and the separation proceedings grew increasingly acrimonious culminating in Rhea Pillai filing a domestic abuse case against Leander Paes and his father.
