A PR stunt went horribly wrong, when Panaji Mayor Surendra Furtado fell into water at Campal creek on Sunday.
Surendra Furtado was riding a boat, which had been fitted with a weed-removal mechanism, to showcase the new acquisition.
A few local journalists and officials were also with him on the boat.
