The Kullu District police have started a probe into a complaint that a café in Kasol refuses to serve Indians.
The probe follows a social media uproar over the racist treatment being meted out to Indians in their own country.
Stefan Kaye, a British musician, complained that the owner of Free Kasol cafe refused to serve an Indian woman with whom he had gone to eat.
Ironically, the owner of Free Kasol café, is an Indian.
There are reports, which suggest that Indians are discriminated against in other establishments in the area as well.
A video by Nalanda TV reports that Kasol, once a land of apples has now turned into a land of hashish.

It has become so popular with the Israeli backpackers, who come here for trekking and drugs, a two kilometer stretch at the village looks like mini Israel .
