IAS officer Priyanka Niranjan gave birth to a daughter at the district government hospital in Muzzafarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, last Friday.
A team of doctors led by Dr Amit Garg operated her for an hour and delivered the baby through a cesarean section.
The baby and mother are reportedly doing fine.
