Rohit Khandelwal has become the first Indian to win the coveted title of Mr World 2016 in UK by defeating 46 contestants from across the globe.

Fernando Alvarez, 21, from Puerto Rico and Aldo Esparza Ramirez, 26, from Mexico were the first and second runner respectively.

Rohit Khandelwal, 26, who started his career as ground staff for SpiceJet, has come a long way. Before shifting to modelling, he also worked in the technical support section of Dell Computers.

He started his glamour career with a bang, bagging his first TV advertisement for a jewelley advertisement against no less than a Kareena Kapoor.

His modelling success also got him meaty roles on TV.  And from there to Mr World title was perhaps one small step for him.
