Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan, who was in controversy recently over his remarks on Islam, had a full Times Now's News Hour show to debate the issue.
Leading the discussion was the nation's Oracle, Arnab Goswami.
There were mandatory clerics, bent on a literal interpretation of Islam, and the right-wingers like Mohandas Pai asking for rationality and ban on animal slaughter.
Irrfan Khan stuck to his guns and clarified that he had only called upon Muslims to grasp the true meaning of animal sacrifice and not opposed the ritual per se. He also pointed out that Indian Muslims in general were opposed to terrorism and working against it.
