The growing sexual assertion of Indian women is reflected in Bollywood |
An increasing number of married Indian women are complaining about the lack of sex in their life, according to a report.
The Times of India interviewed Dr. Nisha Khanna, a leading psychologist and marriage counselor, who says the frustration of the dissatisfied women has become a source of discord in Indian families.
The culprits are men, who are too focused on their careers, and neglect the sexual needs of their partners. This is reportedly making many women seek extra-martial affairs to satiate their biological needs.
In an interesting role reversal, stressed out Indian men are seeking emotional connect within their families, while women are demanding more sex.
The report is anecdotal and based on the experience of one expert. There are indeed other data to show that Indian women have become sexually more assertive.
A Porn Hub survey recently reported that about one-third of its patrons from India are women. Indian women also spent an average of 8.34 minutes on Porn Hub sites per visit compared to 8.01 minutes by men from India.
