Public Restrooms Around the World - a communal toilet in China (not in video) |

You can probably make out how developed a country is by looking at its public toilets.
Cut Video sent its producer Blaine to different countries to check out the status of their public restrooms.
He went to Shanghai, Adelaide, Tokyo, Bangkok, Dubai, Paris, Berlin, New Delhi and so on. No surprises here; the toilets in New Delhi are the worst. The lavatories are dirty and come with broken mugs.
Elsewhere, they are swanky push-and-flush systems, which parade the local culture's civic sense. In Japan, they come with multiple buttons. One of them when pressed, squirts warm water to clean your soiled bottom.
Is it unfair to compare New Delhi with Tokyo and even Bangkok? Ok, watch the video and compare with Bogota and Adis Ababa. In the sample captured, the shit prize goes to New Delhi.
