Indian boxer Vijender Singh made an impressive professional debut by mercilessly demolishing Britain's Sonny Whiting on Saturday.
Enjoy the 14-minute video, which gives the the highlights of the match at Manchester, below.
The routine bout was made interesting by Sonny Whiting, who talked trash about Vijender Singh, in the pre-match statements.
Though the Briton, who is just four matches old, was vastly inexperienced when compared to the Olympian Vijender Singh, that did not stop him from running down his more mature rival.
Vijender Singh, uncharacteristically for a Haryanvi, kept cool and refused to respond, opting to focus on his training.
The strategy clicked and in the ring on Saturday Sonny Whiting was stumbling, lacking in confidence and no match for the Indian.
Vijender Singh started cautiously fending off erratic attacks, but grew confident in the second round, and had Sonny Whiting fighting from the ropes. Though the Indian won the match on technical knockout, Whiting would have gone flat had the referee not stepped in to stop the contest.
Vijender will play his next match on October 30 at Harrow.
