A new skit by SnG Comedy spoofing Indian culture-wallahs is hilarious. It shows how lingerie ads will be made in future under the supervision of those who guard the Indian tradition and values with their life.
The skit shows a couple celebrating their dating anniversary in France - by ordering beef steak and liquor. She present him a lingerie set saying she will smolder in it only for him.
Cut, cries the legal man on the location, who suggests a series of changes to bring the ad more in line with Indian culture fearing it may corrupt the youth.
Out goes beef, liquor, skimpy dress, dating and France.
In comes paneer, lassi, kurta set, marriage and Rashtra Bhasha.
The spoof shows three versions of the lingerie ad each tellingly watered down by the legal man.
Great concept, brilliant excution and totally topical. SnG has a winner here.
