After Shahrukh Khan spoke out against intolerance, reporters baited Salman Khan with the same questions in Mumbai on Wednesday.

But Salman Khan managed to get away with a few clever responses and some help from co-star Sonam Kapoor, with whom he had come to promote their Diwali movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

When reporters asked him to comment on intolerance in the country, a visibly uncomfortable Salman Khan said, "My mother is Susheela Charak, my father is Salim Khan."

When the reporters repeated the question, he repeated the answer  and this time extending it a bit.

"I repeat again, my mother is Susheela Charak, my father is Salim Khan. I am Salman Khan and she is Sonam Kapoor. Hum sab yahaan eik saath baithey hain, koi farq padta hai kya.”

When the questions continued on the same subject, Sonam stepped in saying, "People are just saying anything and spouting things out in the name of religion, caste and creed. It is really disgusting. We should focus on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. It is a film about love and tolerance.”
