Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind made RJD leader Lalu Prasad’s elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav take oath twice after he fumbled upon a word apekshit.
During the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar’s new government Tej Pratap struggled to read out the oath correctly.
“It’s apekshit (expectations), not upekshit (neglected),” Kovind told Tej Pratap, a first time MLA and made him read his script again.
Even in his second try, Tej Pratap fumbled over another word, which the Governor chose to overlook.
Lalu’s younger son Tejashwi Prasad also took oath as a minister in the new government.
Though older by two years Tej Pratap is expected to play second fiddle to Tejashwi, who is likely to be made the Deputy CM.
