Modi explained his idea of India as a place which will accommodate everyone with the help of 18 shlokas and popular sayings drawn from Rig Veda to Manusmriti.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought to reach out to the Opposition parties on Friday in Parliament by assuming a conciliatory approach.

His speech wrapped up the two-day Parliament session that had been called to celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar.

Modi explained  his idea of India as a place, which will accommodate everyone, with the help of 18 shlokas and popular sayings - drawn from various sources, Rig Veda to Manusmriti.

He delivered them by-heart prefixing Idea of India to each one of them promoting the ruling party MPs thump their desk in approval.
