A rookie model Sasha Chettri, who got a big break at Airtel's 4G campaign, has merged as one of the the most recognised faces in India.
The Times of India reports that in the last two months she was on TV screen for almost 475 hours. The ad also went viral on social media.
TOI report quoted an advertising industry professional saying Chettri was the 'Lalitaji' of 2015.
While Kavita Chaudhary got middle class to buy Surf in mid 80s, Sasha is selling Airtel 4G with confidence and charm.
Sasha is a budding singer who performs as Ricksha Rani in clubs and modelling is what she does on the side. When she got an invite to audition for Airtel 4G, she did not want to go as she had cut her waist-length hair very short.
"I didn't think they'd take me. Even when I was shortlisted, I thought it was a joke," she told AFAQ.
