When Salman Khan was doing his 2010 movie Veer, he went to see Dharmendra and said ‘Paaji I want to have thighs like yours.’
Feeling flattered Dharmendra said he had taken care of what he had been gifted by his parents.
Salman Khan was referring to the 1977 mythological movie Dharam Veer, in which Dharmendra wore shorts and went bare-chest to sport a look that cemented his he-man image.
For his period drama Veer, Salman Khan was toying with the idea of sporting a similar look and it was when he was struck by Dharmendra's thunder thighs.
Dharmendra, who turned 80 recently, is in a nostalgic mood. He narrated the above anecdote during an interview with DNA.
He also told the newspaper that he was among the first in Bollywood to do a shirtless scene - in Phool Aur Patthar.
