Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi’s mother Zarina Wahab has threatened to take legal action against those who have defamed him on the basis of an alleged leaked charge sheet.
A Mumbai daily had published a leaked excerpt of the alleged charge-sheet in which Sooraj Pancholi has been accused of abetting Jiah Khan's suicide.
“The entire charge sheet is not out yet. How dare anyone write anything about Sooraj without knowing the contents! We will take action against people giving incorrect information,” Wahab told The Hindustan Times.
The story was picked up by other media outlets and also went viral on social media.
In June 2013, Jiah Khan was found hanging in the bedroom of her apartment by her mother Rabiya Khan.
Rabiya later filed an FIR against Sooraj, who was then in a relationship with her, accusing him of murder.
