Suresh Raina gave a viral worthy response to a journalist at a press conference in Mumbai on Thursday.
Raina was asked to comment over the slection of the new coach to oversee Indian cricket team. A journalist asked him if he preferred an Indian coach or foreign coach.
Pat, came the reply from Raina. "Are you comfortable with your own wife or someone else’s?”
As the press room broke into laughter, Raina perhaps thought he may have overstepped.
He said it was for BCCI to decide and he was just a player who would have to manage with whatever he was given with. He had played for the country for 11 years and knew his responsibility, he pointed out.
Many were quick to compare Raina's quick repartee with Dhoni;s recent press conferences in which India ODI captain has targeted journalists. While Dhoni's responses were acrimonious, Raina spoke in jest and managed to raise a chuckle from everyone.
