A vigilant neighbour caught on camera a woman abusing her 85-year-old mother in Kalkaji,Delhi .
After the video went viral, police have stepped in to counsel both the women and ensure the old woman is not abused again.
The mother reportedly stays separately and the 60-year-old daughter visits her occasionally.
The neighbour saw her slapping the old woman and dragging her inside the house. She can be heard shouting at the younger woman to have a heart and not abuse her mother.
The cause of the assault is not known.
