A Russian woman Olga Efimenkova has launched a dharna in Agra in front of her mother-in-law's house demanding a fair share of property for her husband.
Local media is covering the story closely and publishing interviews of Olga, who is remarkably fluent in Hindi, sitting in front of a house at Indrapuri, Agra.
Olga has refused to eat and has been sitting with her young son, braving the monsoon rain. Her husband, Vikrant Singh Chandel, is in support of her demand.
Olga and Vikrant Singh Chandel met in Goa and married in 2011. They were reportedly running a business, which ran up huge losses, forcing them to shift to Agra.
Nirmala is adamant that she had already given Rs 11 lakh to Vikrant Singh Chandel and has nothing more to give.
