Prateek Mishrapuri, a Haridwar-based celebrity astrologer, is in news for famously advising Sylvester Stallone to perform the shraddh ceremony of his son Sage, who reportedly died of drugs overdose in 2013.
Prateek Mishrapuri, 44, says his family has been practicing astrology for 30 generations since 7th century.
He operates out of a small office in Haridwar but travels extensively and is the first one in the family to do readings for foreigners. Besides, Sylvester Stallone, he says he has been consulted by Nicole Kidman as well.
Prateek Mishrapuri took Jessica Ravitz's date, time and place of birth and typed them into a computer. He then recited a prayer and began his reading.
1) He described Jessica Ravitz as a stubborn woman, who wanted to change things. Her nature derives from one of her previous births when she was a French revolutionary.
2) The next one was tougher. Prateek Mishrapuri talks about a man Jessica Ravitz was engaged to in 2006, whom he describes as a good man. Prateek Mishrapuri says the relationship was doomed as their sex life was broken.
Jessica Ravitz admits that she had refused to go into a sexless marriage and handed back the ring. She was desperate to have a child and had even looked for a sperm donor though the plan did not materialise.
Prateek Mishrapuri says a daughter may still be in her future.
3) Prateek Mishrapuri also gets Jessica Ravitz's relationship with her father right and says he had committed suicide. Jessica Ravitz disagrees, but there is an element of doubt.
Jessica Ravitz's father had a neurological disorder the was progressively degenerative. He had even spoken about opting for euthanasia. But he died abruptly during a vacation in Mexico and the medical examiner had said it was an instantaneous and natural death. But there had been no autopsy as the family was anxious to rush the body to the US
4) Lastly, Prateek Mishrapuri tells Jessica Ravitz that it is a good time for her to start a relationship. Jessica Ravitz tells him that she had just met a good man, whom Prateek Mishrapuri approves.
