A horrifying video of a South Indian man slamming a cobra to death has gone viral.
The video shows him plucking the lengthy animal from a bush and slamming it to ground repeatedly till it dies.
A report in Indian Express said the man in the video acted in rage after the cobra bit his son to death. The report, which has not been verified, did not have clear information about the location of the incident.
There is also a possibility the man was just an expert hunter, who killed the animal for its skin.
The king cobra is a dangerous snake with a fearsome reputation. It can grow up to 18 feet.
