Joseph Tame, a British man, is doing his bit to spread joy this season by dressing up and running around as a Christmas tree in Tokyo.

He made a costume for himself with fake Christmas tree branches, lights and decoration. He dons it along with 99 batteries  and 30 meters of wiring, and begins his daily run.
Surprised Tokyo residents typically burst into laughter and take his photos before sharing them on social media. Local and international media have picked up the story and turned Joseph Tame into a celebrity and a viral phenomenon.
He says the idea came to him after he noticed parts of Tokyo that were not lit up for the season. He targeted them to share the festive spirit.
