The 65-foot large mammal was helpless after it was washed ashore till the fishermen stepped in.
A video footage shows them rocking it gently in order to help it catch the waves.
Then they secured it with a large net and towed it to deeper water with their boats before setting it free.

STRANDED WHALE RESCUED FROM CHILE BEACHIn a compassionate show by the people of Chile, a stranded and helpless whale was rescued. Fishermen and beachgoers near EL Colorado beach near Iquiqu in Northern Chile saved the life of a large 20-meter blue whale, which was towed back into the deep waters coordinated by the navy. The navy and beach-goers took about three hours to rescue the mammal.
