A video, which shows an unidentified restaurant possibly in Mumbai serving nitrogen cooled biscuits, has gone viral.

It shows a waiter dipping biscuits in liquid nitrogen kept in a plastic container and serving them. As a group of customers put them in their mouth, smoke starts pouring out.

The video uploaded on YouTube on October 28 has generated 200,000 plus views and drawn comments from all over the world.

Nitrogen is a colourless gas, which turns into a liquid at temperatures below -196C. When you put the biscuit in your mouth, the heat from your body will cause the liquid nitrogen to become gas.

These biscuits are said to taste cold and dry and not harmful to your body unlike raw liquid nitrogen, which can kill you if drunk.

A British teenager in Lancashire, Gaby Scanlon, fell ill seriously last month after she had a drink laced with liquid nitrogen at a pub. A local hospital had to remove a portion of her perforated stomach to save her life.

Caution, consult experts and verify all information before you anything like in the video below.

Online video makers have found that the quickest route to going viral is to focus on female sexuality.

Indie Viral have interviewed a few Delhigirls on their sexual fantasises for their new Street Talk video.

Apparently, with these girls it matters more where you do it, than how and with whom.

Beach is the favourite location for many. Cinema theatre, café bathroom, roof top are other preferred love pads.

One of them does say that she wants to have sex with a very flexible dancer. Another one just wants to drop into a male strip joint and pick up one of them.

Some like it gentle and romantic, and some like it hard and wild. One girl says she wants pain and BDSM stuff.

Another popular response – have you read 5 Shades of Grey, then I have answered all your question.

Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar shot off his mouth on Pakistan TV and said Modi should be removed for ties with Pakistan to improve.

A few TV channels and websites initially reported that Aiyar had sought Pakistan’s help to remove Modi and bring Congress back to power.

But the video below shows Aiyar speaking more than what he should have, but falling short of what has been alleged.

The Pak TV anchor asks him what should be done to break the stalemate in the Indo-Pak affairs.

Pat comes Aiyar’s reply: Remove Modi and bring Congress to power.

He then clarifies that Indians will take care of that though Pakistan may have to wait for four years to see better relations.

While BJP has accused Aiyar of shaming the country, Congress has chosen to defend him. But other parties including RJD seems to be with BJP on the issue.

Puritan opinion requires leaders not to wash dirty linen outside the country. But that is a rule even Modi is guilty of breaking.

A roadside vendor in Allahabad, Ram Babu, deep fries pakoras and lifts them off boiling oil with bare hands.

People throng to see him plucking pakoras directly from the hot frying cauldron without suffering any burn.

As he says in the video below boiling oil feels like water for him.

He also adds that the feat has given him an identity besides roaring business as many loyal customers swear that pakoras fried with bare hands taste better.

Ram Babu says he dips his hands into boiling oil a thousand times a day without every getting hurt. And he has been doing this for decades.

He says he discovered his unique capability quite accidentally. To save time, during a rush hour, he once picked the pakoras from oil with his hands, only to pull them out in panic.

He was surprised that he was not hurt and tried a reenactment tentatively with the same result. And as they say the rest is Allahabad history.

Local doctors have reportedly studied his act and taken samples of his skin. Their conclusion: There is nothing in Ram Babu that sets him aside from you and me.

While his feat is impressive, he is not the only one with this capability. A hotelier in Karol Bagh, Prem Kumar, has been documented deep frying fish with his bare hand for decades.

The Kiss of Love (KOL) campaign is back in focus exactly one year after it was organised thanks to the detention of two of its organisers by Kerala police.

Rahul Pashupalan and wife Reshmi Nair have been reportedly detained for questioning in connection with the busting of a sex racket.

Police say in a month-long Operation called Big Daddy they could identify a sex racket that procured women from places such as Bangalore for clients in Kerala using tools such as Whats App.

As The Hindu points out, the details of the case are sketchy and the role of Rahul and Reshmi is not clear. However, the crime that is being alleged here is serious, more so, as minors are said to have been trafficked.

After the reports of detention of Rahul and Reshmi came out, many turned their ire on KOL saying its duplicity had been thoroughly exposed.

KOL started as a protest against an incident of moral policing in Calicut. Rahul and Reshmi emerged as key figures of the campaign when they kissed on Live TV, an act that led to the activists of a right wing organisation to try to assault them.

Despite their prominent role it would be a mistake to tie KOL entirely to them. The campaign started in Kerala but spread to other states Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi and West Bengal, among others.

Students tried to organise KOL protest against local moral policing pressures and in many places got into confrontation with right wing organisations. The campaign did get politicised in a few places when communist party student organisations tried to mobilise youth against Hindutva bodies.

But the KOL campaign was about the right to do what you thought was fit in public without anyone bringing down their lathis on your head.

The campaign asked for photos of people kissing and the response was overwhelming. Not every kiss it captured was a sexual contact. There were friends, parents, siblings in the photos.

It was the forerunner of the protest against intolerance debate that is currently in focus.

The fate of Rahul and Reshmi is actually immaterial to it.

While the censor board stops James Bond from kissing in India, MTV Big F has set the TV box on fire by showing a lesbian kiss.

The 6th episode of the show I Kissed A Girl, which shows a college girl discovering her sexuality, involves a passionate liplock between Madhura Naik and Aasma Badar.

A fashion designing student Sharmistha (Madhura Naik) is ridiculed for not having a boy friend. When she meets an attractive model Madhurima (Aasma Badar) she finds out which way she swings.

Madhura Naik and Aasma Badar were not comfortable shooting for the scene, which the script described as bold.

Madhura Naik told BollywoodLife.comthat she requested the director to shoot the sequence with a minimum crew.

“It was only Aasma, I, our director and cameraman in the room… It was not easy to her as well to execute this scene. It was tough but we did it with professionalism.”

Wednesday's arrest marks a dramatic fall for ambitious Kerala model Reshmi R Nair, who was in the public eye constantly, but ironically never making it big.

Kerala police arrested Reshmi and her husband Rahul Pasupalan alleging they had been directly involved in running an online sex racket.

A PTI report quotes police sources saying Kader, the mastermind of the racket, had sent photos of Reshmi to decoys sent by them.

IGP (Crimes) S Sreejith said when the couple were arrested at a hotel near Kochi airport two minor girls were with them, besides their six-year-old son. Police are probing to find out whereabouts of these girls.

A small town girl Reshmi shot into fame as a bikini model, not a small feat in conservative Kerala. She ruffled feathers, but built a following with her bold photo shoots, which showed ample skin.

In 2013, Reshmi got selected to take part in Playboy's Miss Social contest, an online competition for models to get popular votes and get featured in the magazine though in the non-nude category.

2014 October saw her debuting as an organiser of Kiss of Love campaign in Kerala.

The most celebrated moment of the campaign was when she kissed Rahul on Mathrubhumi TV channel after a show host Aparna Kurup challenged Kiss of Love volunteers to kiss in front of everyone.

The act provoked members of a right wing organisation to assault Reshmi and Rahul in the studio itself, turning them into national celebrities, in the process.

Turkish soccer fans disrupted silent homage to Paris terror attacks victims, during a match against Greece, on Wednesday.

As the Greek and Turkish soccer players stood in line in silence the crowd began shouting Alla Ho Akbar. They also chanted slogans, which are inaudible in the video, and started jeering as well.

While the fans  effectively disrupted the homage, Turkish players stood in silence with their heads bowed.

The Turkish fans had similarly disrupted a silent tribute to Ankara blasts victims in October during a match against Iceland.

The behaviour of Turkish fans drew split opinion from commentators.

Ahmed Bedier, a media commentator on Islamic issues, wrote on his Facebook page that fans were only shouting a popular Turkish chant against terrorism,” reports Washington Post.

But many including Turkey’s manager Fatih Terim disagreed and said fans had shamed the country.

Syria’s Coach Fajr Ibrahim pointed out that while Paris attack victims were receiving recognition other victims of terror — and specifically those killed in Syria — had been ignored.

“We stand now 30 seconds for French, but all Syrian people killed, no one stand one second, you have to know this,” Ibrahim told AFP.

Modi may soon overtake Ibn Battuta as world's most travelled man, says Justice Katju

Justice Markandey Katju has compared Prime Minister Modi's frequent foreign trips to the arduous journeys undertaken by Ibn Battuta in the medieval period. November 19, 2015, NewsCrunch

Justice Markandey Katju has compared Prime Minister Modi's frequent foreign trips to the arduous journeys undertaken by  Ibn Battuta  in the medieval period.

Moroccon-born Ibn Battuta (1304 – 1368) holds the record as history's greatest world traveller.

Over three decades he visited Iraq, Persia, Arabia, Somalia, Swahili Coast, Anatolia, Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, China, North Africa, Mali and Timbuktu.

In his over a year's of Prime-Ministership Modi made twenty-nine foreign trips and would be soon leaving for Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

As Justice Katju says at this rate he would soon break Ibn Battuta's record of being the most travelled man in history.

Comparing Modi to Ibn Battuta, however, tempting is far from accurate.   Here are the key differences.

Ibn Battuta walked on foot or rode mules or camels. Modi travels by Air India One, which sometimes gets to park next to Obama's Air Force One.

Ibn Battuta spent long time in the places he visited - sometimes even marrying local women. Modi visits are tough and go, in comparison, and there is also no record of any matrimonial alliances taking place.

Modi is received by rapturous NRIs everywhere he goes. There is not record of medieval Moroccons extending a similar rousing reception to Ibn Battuta.

Europe, which was in dark ages at he time, was avoided by Ibn Battuta. Modi likes his Europe visits and has also been to North America a few times, which was not on world map during Ibn Battuta's time.

Ibn Battuta left behind written accounts of his travels. We are not sure if Modi is maintaining any dairy.

Ibn Battuta travelled out of personal interest. Modi's world's travels are in public cause - to drum up trade and investment.

Many international publications have taken note of Modi's sartorial accomplishment. We are not sure if a similar courtesy was extended to Ibn Battuta

A screengrab of supersonic private business jet AS2 (video below)

November 19, 2015, NewsCrunch

Airbus is building a new supersonic jet, AS2, that will speed up air travel shaving off almost two-thirds of the present flight time.

The AS2 plane, dubbed  ‘Son of Concorde’, will hit speeds of 1,217mph, reports Daily Post.

It would allow passengers to travel between Londonand New Yorkin just three hours instead of the present eight to nine. The flight time between Delhi and New York may come down to a little over five hours.

Airbus has partnered with Aerion to develop AS2, which will start test flights in 2021. The first commercial flights for businesses is expected to be available in 2023.

Here is the bad news.

The economics of AS2 is not clear. It is being developed as a private business jet for the likes of Ambanis. There is no information on when it will be released for the passenger market.

The epithet ‘Son of Concorde’ may prove to be ominous for AS2. Concorde, which introduced supersonic travel in the ‘70s became commercially unviable and ran into many unforeseen issues.

Britain and France, the countries behind it, shut it down in 2003.
